Liz and Perry are definitely book lovers.

On February 6, the annual Book Lovers' Party was held at the Stocking Works. On an evening of record-breaking snow, 200 or more library supporters came out to have a great time and contribute to the on-going 250th Anniversary celebration.

These three amigos were thinking of new ways to help raise funds for the oldest library in the county, and one of the oldest in the state and country.

Websters look as if they have something to celebrate.
Right: Laurie, Paula, Larry and Penny are all staunch supporters on the NLC.

Lennie really wanted a cigar, but he settled for a rose.

Thanks to Diane LaBas for these rosy photos.

Below: Bob and Sara. She and several others made many of the delicacies for the party. Glenn of Isaac Newtowns donated all of the hot food.

The mayor always sticks himself into these pictures, since he does the web site.
Center: Everyone enjoys when seven baskets and a wagon of cheer are raffled off.
The library thanks all who attended or contributed to this event, which raised appx $10,000 for the library.
